FELDA IFFCO ANNUAL SHUTDOWN FOR DOSH INSPECTION – March 2018

FELDA IFFCO ANNUAL SHUTDOWN FOR CHEMICAL CLEANING, HIGH PRESSURE WASHING & LANCING @ 15 000PSI FOR SPIRAL & PLATE TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER 

Flow Synergy Technics Sdn Bhd, was awarded by Felda Iffco Sdn Bhd a plant shutdown & maintenance job for spiral heat exchanger, columns, plate type, shell & tube ex changers. – March 2018

The plant maintenance scope covers Hp washing 5000psi, HP lancing 15 000psi, chemical cleaning (descaling – using caustic) for spiral type exchangers & the chemical cleaning was done in a close circuit looping system .

Provision qualified Site supervisor 2pax , Mechanical fitters 24 pax, HP hydro blasters 12pax, Site & planning engineer  2 pax. To work 24hours around the clock.

1.Shell & tube exchanger – 4 units HP lancing & mechanical work, 5 000psi +

   Manual cleaning by scope to remove & fill the CPO in to bulk bag & disposal

– HE 401, HE 101 A, 101 B, HE 411

2. Plate type HE : x 10 units remove to w/s for chemical cleaning & HP washing 

– HE111A , HE 2204A, HE 2203B, HE 5303A&B, HE 5301B, HE 5304, HE2501 C, HE 2503, HE 5302 A&B,

3. Vessel : 6 units – chemical cleaning & flushing

– VE107A&B,  VE 114A, VE 413A&B, VE 411B

4. Column – 3 units Caustic & steam flushing + HP washing 5000psi

– Pad column 1 unit(3rd & 4th column only), Deodoriser 2 units (whole unit)

 

  • Shell & tube exchangers was deemed for DOSH final inspection before box back
  • Vessel, spiral & column only deemed for Felda iffco  internal inspection only. After final leak testing all system was box back while insert proper gaskets supplied by (F.IFFCO).
  • At satisfactory cleaning & final house keeping job successfully handed over.
  • Total man hours calculated – 3360hours
