Boiler servicing on board of FPSO BERANTAI – Offshore – AUGUST 2020

 Type       :  SUNROD WATER TUBE BOILER – 1 unit 

Capacity :  CPH – 250 / 25Ton/hr@ & 350 deg.c

Vessel     :   FPSO BERANTAI – TRENGGANU WATERS – OFFSHORE  

  1. To provision qualified boiler makers 4 pax for onboard FPSO BERANTAI boiler 1 unit for surveyor inspection.
  2. Work scope consisted of :
  3. Steam drum / water drums servicing & HP washing at 2500psi
  4.  Tube banks area high pressure washing internal tube & power tooling (Air driven)
  5. Fire box area – Dry cleaning
  6. Level Gauge 2 units overhauling and renew spares
  7. Refractory repair estimated 150kgs (inclusive men power and material). To repair the damaged refractory at      passage area and cleaning bottom floor stack
  8. Boiler valves and mountings to be overhaul & servic – 10 numbers
  9. Boiler safety valves (PSV) – 2 numbers – 9.6 bar overhaul & service spare provision by ship owner. POP          testing witness by third-party inspector (BV) onboard of vessel.
  10. Hydro test x 2 times for owner satisfaction
  11. Prior to proper inspection & surveyor witness the boiler mounting & spares installed in line and boiler doors closed back with proper packing
  12. Job hand over successfully – with no LTI. Total duration of work – 7 days only.

 

PROVISION OF CHEMICAL CLEANING SERVICES TO BLNG BRUNEI FOR MASHHOR CONTRACTORS (PICKLING & PASSIVATION) STAINLESS STEEL TUBING FROM 2” TO 4” IN DIA.  – February 2020

2.1  The process for chemical cleaning for Stainless steel (SUS316)

  • Degreaser solution : 15-20% by Volume of pre-wash Degreaser
  • Pickling solution : Citric Acid 20% + Sodium Nitrite-5%- (corrosion inhibitor)
  • Passivation solution : Ammonium Biflouride 10 % passivation solution pH 5-6
  • Blow dry – dry air – 7bar with continues follow
  • Ns purging based on request only..
  • Rust prevention treatment – VCI power application + sealing
