UHP & HP LANCING & CLEANING FOR SHELL & TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER C/W 36″ DIA PIPELINE COLD CUTTING & BEVELING SCOPE  – BLNG SHUTDOWN September 2019

Flow Synergy Technics Sdn Bhd, was awarded by ADININ & WORKS ENGINEERING SDN BHD (AWE) – Brunei on September 2019. Scope to provision Ultra High & High Pressure machine 9 units, 1 standby unit complete with accessories, with self rotating bunchie nozzles to cater ID 16mm. To provide experienced blasters 21pax on day & night shift  to manage the shutdown with 2 experienced supervisors. Full time safety (SSS) coordinator 1 pax. Planning & execution engineer 1 pax. Job was carried out 24hours as rotating shift.

Equipment involved : Total 42 bundles 

  1. E3111, E3112, E3113, E3115, E3120-A, E3120-B, E2102A/B/C, E2103, E2104, E2106, E3117A/B, E3118 A/B/C/D/E/F, E3127, E3104, E3105, E3106, E3107, E3108, E3109, E3101/02/03, E3101/02/03/04 A&B, E3119, T5402, E3904, E3906 A/B, E3908, E3910, E3911, E3912, E3913, E3914 A&B
  2. Total bundles 42 units – Hp cleaning 28nos x 41 575 tubes x Uhp cleaning 14nos x 16 635tubes
  3. Total tubes involved 58 210 nos (straight tubes) Sus material
  4. Od 19.05mm x 9.15mtrs x 2.11thickness

Duration took about 20days max to lance all internal tubes till 100% clean to bare metal. Inspection method, Boroscope & visual. After proper housekeeping and internal inspection with BLNG & AWE personnel job successfully hand over. No LTA was encountered while the job progress.

After successful completion all team was demob back to Johor Work shop. 

To perform onsite Machining & Cold cutting scope : 

  • Pipe Diameter: 36”, Pipe Thickness: SCH 80 Pipe Material: Carbon Steel
  • Bevel type: single bevel 37.5 degree
  • Supply 2Pax of manpower to operate 1 unit of onsite split frame machines and flange facing machine 706I mm (30″ – 36″)
  • To provision 1 set of onsite split frame machines SF2632 together with sufficient cutting and bevel blade, air filter and air hoses.
  • Upon rental of 15 days machine and men power were off hired successfully
